When a Christian stops to ponder the most awesome power of God... I mean REALLY ponder it. It should give us true peace and a knowing that the God of the universe wants a very close and personal relationship with us. One where we rely solely on Him.
How DO we get there, though?
It's all about HIS awesome power. When we stop to really understand that EVERYTHING in this world ... EVERY good and EVERY evil thing (and everything in between) that is in our lives, EVERYWHERE in the world, is ONLY there because the God of this universe either wills it to be there, or allows it to be there. When every single thing, in every condition, in every situation, or in every state of the world, God can (And probably sometimes does) change it. Or, He can totally wipe it out, in essence, with a simple flick of His unconstrainable Will (A Will that is even outside of the constraints of time) .
When we truly ponder and come to grips with that, literal earth(bound) shattering reality, then the ONLY thing that matters for us mere humans, is to figure out, or come to an understanding of exactly how it is that our wills can be in alignment with His Will. AND, He even left us a Glorious Manual!
How awesome is that?
If God has no concerns, or no things that He won't, or He can't control, (out of HIS necessity) other than NOT controlling our own free wills. Then it should become logically and gloriously obvious to every believer that EVERYTHING, or really the ONLY thing that God ever was, is, or ever will REALLY be, "up to", is a direct product of His Will to have our wills aligned to HIS WILL. This desire for us to be in eternal relationship with Him is what Jesus so intimately told us in John chapter 17, when He walked with us.
This logically deduced, glorious point can bring us much peace... and it doesn't even have to pass our understanding! That's just a bonus. Maybe many people already know this Glorious reality, but sometimes I'm a little slow.
That all being said, the next great question for a believer is, "Then, WHY have WE been born for such a time as this?" Why has God let us get to the world that exists as it is, right here and right now? Why has God posited His believers into this dangerous world where His Will for us as humans is in direct and potentially dangerous opposition to the forces of unrepentant evil that only seems to be in control right now? A very crazy and coming dangerous world that many of his believers are either purposefully ignoring or totally oblivious to. Do we ignore it because it makes us uncomfortable? Do we ignore it because we take part of the comforts of the world? Do we ignore it because we are in bed with it? Are we even REALLY oblivious? Or, do our material comforts allow us to look at the weights and scales of our own lives and not even notice our thumb on the scale? And this leads us to not even notice, or even care how the prince of this world has not only his thumb, but his whole, unrepentant elbow pressing on the scale. I'm not even talking about money, but more of the spiritual aspect of our time, our energy and the intentional direction of our will.
Is He looking for us to faithfully trust Him? Of course He is. What does this mean? Does it mean that WE need the kind of faith-filled courage that Jesus modeled for us when He was willing to lay down His life to save US.... But, now us (His modern church), WHO does He want us to save?
Why did Jesus tell us?:
“This is My commandment, that you love one another, just as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends. You are My friends if you do what I command you.

And, why did Jesus say the following, immediately after His story of Lazarus and the rich, comfortable man (Who in his comfort ignored the needs of lazarus and found himself in what we call Hell?) :
Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble. So watch yourselves. “If your brother or sister sins against you, rebuke them; and if they repent, forgive them.

We are at a point, historically, where our children are under constant and godless attack. Is it, "Woe to us?" We laid down to abortion, and now the godless powers of this world want to assault our kids (After pointless subjugation to cult-like, mask wearing.) with, "Magical juice", that does nothing but kill and maim them? (I won't even mention the massive amount of child pedophilia, pedophillia rings and Satanic ritual abuse that is perpetrated against the children here in America and all around the world).
The church (As a whole) has turned a blind eye to these atrocities or abomination. What kind of beastly system is taking place in the temple of our hearts? AND the atrocity of our complacency is even being passed onto our innocent children?
Is the coming judgement a deserved one? One of Biblical, revellational, or apocalyptic relevance?
Will the church's will and God's Will become one again?
What happens if they don't?
What IS God up to?
