We all know that it is impossible to please God without faith. So in order to make it to the next level and to gain God’s favor we have to show ourselves worthy by our faith. In order to live by faith, you have to fully understand what faith is.

Hebrew 11:1 says faith is the substance of things hope for and the evidence of things not seen. So one major point you must understand is that if you know it or can see it then you can’t have faith in it. Genuine faith is based solely on trust. You have to trust His word and believe in its truth. But faith is a little deeper than just saying you believe. Your actions have to silently say to God you trust Him. So, in order to have faith you have to take risks. Sometimes having faith means the world will think you are crazy. Faith comes with a lot of opposition from others (including those who claim to have faith, too). You must not be moved. Keep the faith and allow God to show up and show out in your life.

II Corinthians 5:7 says for we walk by faith and not by sight. That means that we don’t respond or move based on what is going on around us. We react according to the trust we have in God’s word. So what I do isn’t based on how I see the outcome but on how I trust in God’s word. Some people might say what you are doing don’t make sense but faith will never make sense in the natural. Faith is common sense in the spiritual but it is crazy in the natural. That’s why as Christians, we have to learn to use our spiritual eyes over our natural ones.

So please remember in order to get further in life you have to put your faith in play. Genuine faith means taking risks and fully trusting God’s word. Last but not least, you can’t listen to people in the natural because they don’t’ understand what’s going on in the spiritual.
