WE WIN IN THE END

Jeremiah 29:11 “For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

Ever given much thought to Pride? Well, me neither, until the entrance into today’s selfish “me, myself and I” culture, a world which gives the below thoughtful definition in prose. As you can see, we are now living in an unstable world of our own making, a world having forgotten our living Creator. The Creator who created you and me after His own image and likeness, (Genesis 1:26-27) and has prepared a final home for us all. (John 14:1-6)

I thought I’d never see the day nor time now in my prime,
To not wear a mask or get the jab would be a federal crime.
Like many other faithful ones now may just be the time
To stand up for God and country and risk paying the fine.
So will it be left up to the many patriotic like you and me
To stand our ground and be counted among the born free?
So come now all you who rule who are now acting so brave
Can you bend a knee, say a prayer our country for to save?
For our restful heavenly Creator’s Word tells us in the end
Whatever happens to you and to me, the fact is we will win!

Pride has been the disastrous ending of many entities in both private and public  America. Its definition: (one of many such examples)

“Confidence and self-respect as expressed by members of a group, typically one that has been socially marginalized, on the basis of their shared identity, culture, and experience.”

Pride first raised its ugly head when Satan was ousted from the very presence of our living Creator God. (Isaiah 14:12-20)  From the beginning of mankind (Genesis 3:1-7) and through the fall of mankind in the Garden of Eden, onward into today’s world (II Timothy 4:3-4) through the ages to our lives (II Timothy 3:1-9, 13) pride has been a motivating force. 

The way I see it, the Holy Scripture has much to say about pride; the pride our Creator hates (Proverbs 8:13) (Psalm 10:4), and the real Christian pride of Scripture. (Galatians 6:4) (Matthew 5:3)

So, what is our solution, in this politically correct, prideful world? Together can we turn today’s socialist culture back to our roots? Or has God passed judgment on our national sins?  Will God forgive America?  God is the same yesterday, today and forever. (Hebrews 13:8) He has always been and always will be. (Psalm 90:2) He has given us a lawful command with promise. He will forgive America and heal our land. He will bless us again. (II Chronicles 7:14)

However, He expects His beloved creation  to admit and repent of their sins.(Ephesians 2:8-9)  We, as a nation, must repent before Almighty God, ask for his forgiveness (I John 1:8-9), and not continue down the same old path of destruction. (Hebrews 9:27) Then and only then will God bless America, the land of the free and the home of the brave.

Simply put, God gives us a personal promise in ( II Chronicles 7:14. Individually, we His people must humble ourselves, pray, seek the face of God, and turn from our wicked ways.  When we do this, God has promised to hear, forgive our sins , and heal our land.  Amen!
