Tears are a language of their own,

A language I fluently speak when alone.

At times, my eyes refuse to weep,

For the pain penetrates my heart so deep.



My heart weeps not just for me

But for all who experience the pain I feel!

When anger speaks and hatred increase,

That's when the painful sting is released.



Buried resentment has started to leak

Carrying the burden is making you weak.

Could it be, you are the one hurting most?

Let me introduce you to a love dose.



I am your mother, father, sister, brother!

I am your son, nephew, niece, daughter!

I am your friend, employer and employee,

I am the one your hatred seeks.



Hatred seeks to destroy, not to build!

It seeks not to empower but to kill.

It damages relationships, homes and dreams,

That's the path that hatred leads.



When aimed at my brother it reaches me,

There's a trail of ugly that hatred leaves.

The venom poisons all, that's the truth!

And you hurt the One who created me and you.



Hatred contaminates the heart,

That was Satan's intention from the start.

Seeking within, true peace from a heart that is pure,

Can only be obtained from Jesus - He is our cure.



We are our brother's keeper,

Let's help our relationships grow deeper.

We are all connected to each other,

As we teach, we learn from one another.



I am not my own, I am a created being!

Our future is written, we are each playing an important scene!

I do not just exist; I have a destiny.

We are all connected, destined for eternity.



We have been called to serve,

So, from bad habits we must swerve.

What matters is faith, hope and love

Giving inner peace like that of a dove.



With our gifts, let's try to teach!

A wounded soul we just might reach.

In the mirror we'll find what we seek

The hurting is the one whose reflection we see.
