FACING THE GIANTS

Today morning as I sat down to pray, I opened my Bible to this verse “Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.—Isaiah:41:10”. I felt that this season is about asking for Strength from God to push through whatever setbacks we all might be facing. His supernatural strength is nothing compared to the energy boosters that we consume. His strength has so much power. With the strength from the Lord David killed a lion, a bear and Goliath( 1Samuel:17).

Isaiah:41:10 assures the presence of Jesus in our lives to take care of things for us. Not only He provides strength and power but also He helps us through everything we are facing. He will hold our hand and guide us through. His hand holding our hand shows the love of a Father. I remember there were times when I was young, I just couldn’t pray and was overwhelmed with negative emotions. All I would do was like a child would ask a Father. I would lift up my hand and say “Jesus hold my hand” and lead me. I may not see Him visually holding my hand but I would feel His presence with me.

Be encouraged to know that you have a Father who would walk with you to give you strength, help you and hold your hand through whatever you are going through. All you have to is ask Him and He would be there with you always.

I also encourage you to watch the movie “Facing the giants”. A story on the greatest test of strength and courage.
