KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK KNOCK!

Shhhh!! Who is it? Turn down the TV. MUTE! Quiet.

Does this resemble your house when someone knocks on the front door? A big difference from 30, even 20 years ago, when most homeowners seemingly had little issue opening the door to a stranger. Today, unless I am expecting someone or know who loiters behind the door, I don’t answer.

That’s why I have a Ring!

A “No Solicitors” sign used to hang by the doorbell, left there from the previous owner, but after painting the house last year I didn’t bother putting it back up. It didn’t help anyway. Sales people still knocked whether they were selling lawn care or pesticide control. It did work for the Boy Scouts once. I saw them come to the door only to leave rather quickly. I felt bad.

Just a few weeks ago a windows salesman tried convincing me I needed to replace my windows. They are less than 10 years old, I said. He mentioned something about one of them leaking and quickly turned around.  

But a new doorbell threat looms. President Joe Biden’s Vaccine Gestapo.

KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK KNOCK!

Well, maybe not exactly like that but it sure feels like it after Biden announced government employees will go door to door to get the unvaccinated vaccinated. What a sec, how would they know my medical records?

Anyway, why is our government so concerned about a virus with a 99.98 percent survival rate for the far majority of people? Makes you pause. What exactly is going on here? Well for the record I did get their voodoo black magic. Not that mRNA crap, the one with at least a semblance of history behind it. I got it because of the 5^th commandment as my elderly parents requested I get it despite my wishes. I don’t blame them for getting the vaccine nor would I have blamed them for not getting it. But I still don’t see how me getting the vaccine protects them when it will mask any symptoms of infection thereby making it more plausible I could infect them. Fuzzy math as President George W. Bush used to say.

At any rate, the Joe Biden Vaccine Gestapo is coming for my wife. She doesn’t want the vaccine nor does she need it. She was infected in March last year and was denied a potentially life-saving drug because President Donald Trump mentioned it. She took more than a month to fully recover (sad to realize the medical industry is infected by politics) and has resumed regular activities today.

So, instead of hiding from the Vaccine Gestapo we might actually engage them and practice what our pastor preaches. Admittedly, we fail when it comes to sharing our faith so perhaps this door-to-door government intrusion offers an excellent opportunity to let the Christianity fly.

I’m not talking meek witnessing. Give them the crazy tent revival Christianity. Keep it truthful of course and get across the saving grace of Jesus Christ with a bit of uncomfortable realities. Sure you can tell them they are going to burn in hell; they do work for the government after all. That might send them on their way real quick. But you do have a fun opportunity to evangelize. And, the best thing about this approach is if you’re not a Christian, but have no interest in getting the vaccine, this approach works for you too. You just may learn something!

Tips on Confronting the Vaccine Gestapo

1. It’s Not About You, Make it About Them

When they ask about your vaccine history and/or claim they know you have not received the vaccine dismiss them with a wave of the hand, and tell them you are more worried about their eternal damnation. Ask them if they have received Christ as their personal savior.  If NO:

2. John 3:16

Recite John 3:16. “For God so loved the world…” Most everyone knows this verse regardless of their faith. Drop Tim Tebow’s name and the 3:16 game. Ask if they understand what this verse says and how they respond to it.

OK, if the government employee  says YES on their faith in Christ, 99.98 percent of the time expect a NO, then dive in to their faith. Ask when they were “saved.” Not everyone has a “moment” when they remember when and where they became a Christian so don’t hold that against them if they don’t have one of these warm and fuzzy stories. But you can get an idea if they are telling the truth or trying to shut you up. Either way, follow by asking how they will answer to the Lord when they stand before Him at the Great White Throne Judgement working for a president trying to divide Israel and whose personal beliefs and public policies have contributed to the mass extermination of nearly 70 million babies since 1973.

Now listen – if they give you an answer other than “I won’t be standing before Great White Throne Judgement, I’ll be standing before the judgement seat of Christ” you’ve caught them in a lie or you’re dealing with a very ignorant Christian. Either way, the floor is yours. 

3. My Body My Choice

By now you probably will be getting nowhere in your conversation, therefore tell them you adhere to the idea that it’s your body, therefore it’s your choice whether to inject yourself with an experimental vaccine that does not offer full immunity.  Recite 1 Corinthians 6:19 and explain to them that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit.
 
4. Identify as a Vaccinated Person

Lastly, tell them since the law of the land allows a man to identify as a woman and vice versa then you identify as a vaccinated person. Recite Romans 13:1 and ask them to thank Biden on your behalf for this opportunity.

Or you can put the TV on mute, breath through your mouth and sit real still without making a sound while praying the agents of the government knocking on your door will move on without further trouble.

Wow, history repeats itself.
