IT WAS A BLISSFUL REUNION

Once in great while an unexpected human-interest story pops up worth its written script. This happens to be one of those divinely inspired occasions that I trust you will enjoy.

They were driving down a busy neighbor road, this mother and daughter, coming home from shopping when it happened. A little lost dog, was recklessly walking along the busy neighborhood road, when by a divine miracle this little lost one narrowly escaped being hit by traffic. What did this mom and daughter do?

Instantly within the instinct of human kindness, they immediately went into action and came to this little fellow’s rescue. The rescue became an immediate bonding, as this little, lost boy snuggled down in mom's lap as the two drove home.

Arriving at their home, the little dog continued his bonding wagging his tail delightedly. After a little drink of water followed by a tasty dog snack, the dog promptly snuggled down to a doggie nap with his new-found friends.

Of course, realizing they could not keep this little fellow, mom and daughter set out combing the neighborhood in an attempt to locate the owner. Luckily, again as if by divine instruction, a nice lady living in the neighborhood who was in the dog rescue business vowed to give the little, lost boy temporary shelter, vet care and search for the owner.

Yes, this mom and daughter became God-sent angels that particular afternoon responding to this most unexpected encounter. One more star was added to their crowns.

Who were those divinely sent angels that warm spring day, one may ask? Surely you have an idea. You see, family circumstances forbade the rescuing mom and daughter from keeping this little one. And according to the rescuer, who is an expert in dog care and definitely knows dogs, someone must have dumped the dog out. I surely pray not, how could anyone dare attempt such an evil move against one of His creatures?  God forbids!

Good news! The little fellow was divinely reunited with his loved ones. Happy ending to a thoughtful story. It was a blissful reunion. Amen!

PARTING THOUGHTS

Please be assured that God is concerned about our care, including His animals “For every animal of the forest is Mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.” (Psalm 50:10)

What this family did was  good in the sight of our Creator, God.  He is concerned about the way we treat animals (especially those that depend on us). “A righteous man cares for the needs of his animal” (Proverbs 12:10).

And on the day of Creation, God pronounced His creation of animals good. “God made the wild animals according to their kinds, the livestock according to their kinds, and all the creatures that move along the ground according to their kinds. And God saw that it was good.” (Genesis 1:25)
