Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice. Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. Psalm 105:1-4 NIV

It is so easy for us to get caught up in the troubles of our daily lives. When we do encounter trouble, where do we turn? Hopefully, we turn to the Lord, for He is the only one who can truly provide for us that which we need in times of trouble. And the Lord wants us to come to Him with our troubles.

I do wonder though if a good amount of time that we do go to the Lord is because of trouble we face. What about going to Him in times where we are not burdened with our troubles?

I have noticed that I feel best when I am in time of praising the Lord, praising Him for who He is and for all that He does. When I have felt aches and pains or had problems falling asleep, if I focus on giving praise to the Lord, I tend to feel much better.

I also enjoy proclaiming the goodness of the Lord, letting those who will listen know of all the wonderful deeds of the Lord.

If I want to be in the presence of glory, well, then I know I must be in the presence of the Lord. In no other manner can I be in the presence of glory.

Those who truly seek the Lord shall rejoice. How can one help but rejoice if in the presence of God?

When we are weak, we look to strength, and there is no better place to turn to for strength than to the Lord. When we have no answers to what life throws at us, when we are overcome by this world and its evil, God alone can provide the strength which we need.

Recently I have begun to sing in tongues. When I do so, I feel so liberated, as the indwelling Spirit sings praise for me to my Creator. It does not matter that I don’t know exactly what I say, for the Holy Spirit sings praises to God for me!

Have you ever seen the face of Christ? I did in a dream, and let me tell you, it was the most wonderful dream I have ever had. Turn to the Lord. Seek His face. The Lord stands waiting, knocking at the door. To the one who opens the door to his heart and lets the Lord enter, he shall have the most wonderful of gifts, the gift of God lining within!
