She has sunshine in her smile, 
Sandy beaches stretch for miles. 
Isolated, she may be,
But Perth City's home for me!

Old Fremantle's Prison cells, 
Full of convicts, once a hell!
Yes, she's full of history,
Shrouded by her mystery!

Northbridge pulsing with Nightclubs,
Beaufort Street of Shops and Pubs.
As upmarket as can be, 
Yes, Perth City's home for me!

Take a walk along King's Park, 
View the City after dark.
Twinkling lights, Swan River view, 
Old Swan Brewery's nearby too!

As for Vineyards, the Swan Valley
Will entice you, as your palate
Will decide which, red or white?
Hey, you're in no rush tonight!

Have a day out at Perth Zoo. 
Many species there to view. 
Several trees, unique plants, 
Perth begins to sway and dance!

Vegemite eaten on toast, 
Barbecues cook Sunday's Roast. 
Tomato ketchup smother pies, 
Surf 'n Turf soon gain first prize! 

She's as gentle as a breeze, 
Even Covid thought to flee!
Isolated, she may be.
But Perth City's home for me!
