When Americans Hate America

What on United States soil is going on?

If I didn’t know any better, a foreign enemy faction of the United States has assumed control since President Donald Trump was ousted from power.

Many American politicians, including and unfortunately the current White House Administration, seem more interested in undermining the credibility, sovereignty, respect and authority of the once great nation known as America. No disrespect to President Biden, perhaps some of his head scratching policies will have him saying, “See, I told you so,” in a year or so but so far I have to wonder if this American hates America.

How else do you explain the following:

A welcome mat of sorts was placed on the southern border’s front door with a policy that seemingly says the United States is now the world’s orphanage. Money and handouts given out like candy while those who get across scatter like roaches once the lights turn on.

Antifa and BLM, arguably homegrown enemy combatants, continue to wreak havoc around the country with no end in sight. No political will exists either by elected officials at the city, state and federal levels to clamp down on this far left extremism to bring an end to lawlessness while establishing law and order for protecting the innocent and private property.

Much ignorance of the role Israel plays on the world stage and in history. “God blesses those who bless Israel and curses those who curse Israel.” Come on man. It’s not just a Bible verse or pithy religious statement. It’s a fact documented throughout history. Expect horrific things to happen to and in America if the expected plans for Israel come to fruition.

Love him or hate him, Trump did an excellent job with the economy. It was his forte. All the current administration had to do was let it roll and later take credit for the gains and the power of the American economic engine with a few lies along with the backing of the mainstream media. Instead, the expected tax raising plan along with unnecessary stimulus spending will surely stifle growth.

America has more money than it knows what to do with. Too bad printing money doesn’t equate to overall wealth. Inflation has finally reared its ugly head and many say it’s only going to get worse.

For the first time in 70 years the National Day of Prayer was not held at the “People’s House” – the Capitol building. President Biden, in his proclamation, also failed (or perhaps refused) to mention God, something many offered commentary on. Read the room. You don’t have to be a believer, just do you. Be a politician.

Growing up, I didn’t look at people’s skin color. Today, I can’t help it. Every. Single. Day. I hear how racist America is. Somehow, someway, after the election and re-election of Barack Obama and all the overtures given to the black community over the decades, the United States is worse off today than when Martin Luther King, Jr. marched the streets. Things are different and have been for quite some time. Those in power simply need to acknowledge this truth and we can have peace in the streets. 

Many on the right say Biden is not in charge, instead, he’s simply a puppet of an unknown master. He indeed often comes across like a political Pinocchio. But he gave a banger of a speech to Congress a few weeks back. So it’s not like he doesn’t know what he’s saying but the policies he promotes often contradict his own past statements and congressional grandstanding.

Romans 1 says eventually God gives people over to their depraved mind so they can indulge in their sinful behavior. So what happens when the people in charge have been given up by God?

Forgive them Lord for they know not what they do.
