Saved From Violence By God

Genesis 6;11

The earth also was corrupt before God, and the earth was filled with violence.
 

Genesis 6;13-14

And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them with the earth. Make thee an ark of gopher wood; rooms shalt thou make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch.

II Samuel 22;3

The God of my rock; in Him will I trust: He is my shield, and the horn of my Salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my Saviour; thou savest me from violence.

Psalm 55;9-17

Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city. Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it. Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.

For it was not an enemy that reproached me; then I could have borne it: neither was it he that hated me that did magnify himself against me; then I would have hid myself from him; But it was thou, a man mine equal, my guide, and mine acquaintance. We took sweet counsel together, and walked unto the house of God in company. Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into Hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.

As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me. Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and He shall hear my voice.
 

Psalm 72;14

He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in His sight.
 

Isaiah 60;18

Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise.
