He Already Knows

“In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will, in order that we, who were the first to put our hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.” Ephesians 1:11-12 NIV

At the time of creation of man, God already knew every single soul which would ever exist. He also already knew those who would accept His plan and choose to believe in Jesus Christ, whom He sent to be our Savior. There is no one who will “surprise” God by becoming a believer. God cannot be made to be surprised. He already knows everything.

All God has willed is going to happen. Many will reject Him, but some will come to Him, accepting the loving beautiful plan He created through Jesus Christ for our redemption.

God is glorious. Some will acknowledge this but the majority will fail to do so, stuck in their own self-centered ways. Just because they do not accept that God is glorious in no way changes the truth that He is so. Those who believe in Jesus Christ choose to give praise to God for His glory. Believers know that Jesus Christ is The King of Glory.

Why would one choose not to give themselves to the One who knows everything in eternity? Why try to orchestrate your destiny in an environment where very little is under your control? Why live for that which will not follow you when your mortal body perishes? Are you really willing to accept a truly limited life which this world offers? There is an eternity which awaits us all. Will yours be in the presence of the King of Glory or in a fiery pit with no hope of escape? Be one of those who God already knows will accept the gift of His loving plan.
