I don’t now know of anywhere on this planet that one can stand on a rock that is firm. Oh sure, there may be places that are stable for your body to stand upon, but what about your heart and soul? This world is so full of lies and deceit. I don’t know that there is a country that I trust in on its own to provide a firm foundation for heart and soul. This is what God provides for those who choose Him as their rock. God is Truth. Truth is the rock which the heart and soul seek, and it can only be found in God. Any worldly rock can quickly crumble and provide no sure footing.

Do you depend upon the world to provide hope to you? Good luck. You are going to need it and much more. God is steadfast. God is love. Why not put your hope in One who is steadfast and is love?

God provides salvation through His Son Jesus Christ. We all need to be saved from our sin. Sin cannot stand in the presence of God, and we were born into sin. This is a dilemma to which the Heavenly Father provides the answer. But we must accept that which is offered. Otherwise, the dilemma remains, and the result is total destruction.

What is your fortress? Is it your earthly home, or some other worldly thing? Why not allow your fortress to be something that does not change, is steadfast, is total love, and knows all that you need and is willing to provide all you need? There are multitudes of reasons why people say no to God, but none of those reasons are good ones. Say yes to God and no to this world!
