Everyone of God’s children is blessed. They may not have come to the realization or the knowledge of the fact that their lives are anointed, but they are in fact blessed in every way, shape, and form. Realizing that you are blessed takes an understanding and maturity of one’s spirit. You must close your eyes to the world and what the world says a successful person should have or be, and open up your eyes to the Word of God.

Yes, it’s true that we are all born into sin. What that simply means is that we are crossing over to a world where sin is within our reach. In the same token being blessed is within our spirit, and even though we fail to acknowledge the fact we are blessed God does not fail to continue to bless us. It’s similar to having a talent and failing to use it. The talent does not go away, it just requires our attention and time to be perfected. Being blessed requires our acknowledgment that we are blessed. It requires our proclamation and declaring, it requires our signature for the final acceptance.

In knowing that we are all children of God’s Kingdom we should be clear that God meets all of our needs. Like a mother who dresses her child for a cold winter day outing, God has dressed and prepared us prior to releasing us to the world. We are covered from head to toe. There are so many blessing’s laid upon our lives everyday that we often fail to see them for what they truly are. We often forget to stop and smell the roses, we often forget that another day here on earth is much more then another dollar, but another opportunity for us to live and serve out God’s purpose for our lives.

In all that you do remember that you are blessed. You are blessed when the doctor declares you have three years to live and you can now proclaim that was ten years ago. You are blessed when the cancer they thought they found, they can no longer locate. You are blessed, blessed because you are loved far greater then the world could ever love you.
