In Humility And Truth Let Us Serve Our King

 

Do not touch the glory,

For it only belongs to the Lord,

Crave for esteem & a pious living,

Shall never go in one accord.

 

Sons of the devil shall we be known,

If only selfish motives we will crown,

We too shall be cast away from God’s presence,

As Lucifer was once thrown down.

 

We are the leader of everyone whom we serve,

This is what our Lord did teach,

The ‘Son of man’ came to serve and not to be served,

This is what our blessed Lord preach.

 

Yet often the devil shows us a mirror,

‘The mirror of pride’ which is nothing but deceit,

The only aim of the devil is this,

‘God’s purpose in our lives must be defeat’.

 

Let’s turn to the mirror which is the ‘Word of God’,

And let this blessed truth govern all we do,

In humility and truth let us serve our King,

For this is God’s will always for me and you.
