God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, Psalm 46:1-2 NIV

OK. What is the last time you were in trouble? I mean serious trouble. What did you do? Did you turn to someone to help you in trouble, and if so, who did you turn to? Was it someone in your family, a good friend?

Did you know there is someone who is always with you, in good times and in times of trouble? Also, He is always ready to help you if you will only ask Him. The help you get may not be the help you are seeking, but I will guarantee you something. What He has to offer is the help you truly need. Would you not like to know that when you are in trouble that there is someone who is always there, ready to help you and provide you refuge and strength? Think about it, strength when you are in trouble. He offers strength which shall overcome any and all weakness within you. The strength of God will overcome the weakness of any one.

Imagine not being afraid if the earth gives way. Imagine the mountains falling into the sea and you not being afraid. If God is your refuge and strength you need fear nothing.

What we must do is seek God in time of trouble. We should always seek God, both in the times of good and the times of trouble. We were not meant to walk this world alone. The world will not offer you any help, just more troubles and tribulation. God offers you help. He is the refuge and strength that you need, yet He will not force Himself upon you. Oh, believe me, He is there, just waiting to help if you will only come to Him. The help, refuge and strength which He offers is such that can be offered by no one else. You just need to sincerely and humbly approach Him. He is there waiting for you. No trouble is too big for God to get you through. As I said, the outcome may not be what you anticipate, but it will be what you need.

Do you always get through your troubles? Do they seem to be mounting up against you? No one can get through all troubles on their own. Why not go to the one who can get you through any trouble? He is there and He is waiting for you!
