*He/She answers the Call of the Commander-In-Chief of Heaven (John 6:44).

*He/She enlists through Salvation in Jesus Christ alone (John 3:16-17).

*He/She accepts their enlistment by the Grace of God (Ephesians 2:8-10).

*He/She is accepted into a New army as a New soldier (II Corinthians 5:17).

*He/She is issued their training manual (the KJV Bible) uniform and weapons (Eph. 6:10-20).

*He/She is fitted into their uniform via Baptism (Colossians 2:12; Galatians 3:27 KJV).

*A Christian soldier’s uniform is kept clean and unspotted by confession of sin and repentance unto Jesus Christ our Captain (I John 1:8-10).

*A Christian soldier’s uniform is sealed by the Blood of Christ (Rev. 12:11) and sealed by the Holy Spirit’s indwelling in the individual soldier (Ephesians 1:13).

*The Christian soldier will report for duty to Boot Camp to learn their training manual (the KJV Bible) and gain knowledge and wisdom from God on their salvation experience through Jesus Christ, through the Holy Spirit, as to DAILY feeding upon its contents (I Timothy 3:16-17; II Timothy 3:16-17).  Boot Camp and Basic Training may consist of time in the wilderness in study of the KJV Bible OR being led by the Holy Spirit to a bible-believing local church.

*There are 3 ranks assigned to the Christian soldier, and promotion is awarded by Jesus Christ through the Word of God.  Those ranks are:  1) Babe in Christ (1 Peter 2:2) or may be called children/little children in Christ (1 John 2:1); 2) Youth in Christ or Young Men/Young Women (1 John 2:13); 3) Mature in Christ or Fathers or Old Soldiers (1 John 2:13-14).  The duty of a seasoned Christian soldier is to teach younger recruits in the ways of God:  men teaching younger men and women teaching younger women (Titus 2).

*There are 3 enemies to ALL Christian soldiers.  These enemies do NOT change, and may attack the Christian soldier, their base of service (the home and family), and their duty station (the local church) at any time.  These enemies are the World (as in the World system or the ways of the society of the unsaved (I John 2:15-17), the Flesh (Romans, Chapter 7) and the Devil (1 John 4:1-6; John 10:10).  These enemies have a variety of subsets.  The World has spawned the lust of the eyes, the lust of flesh, and the pride of life.  The Christian solider learns all about his/her enemies in Boot Camp, and by daily study of the training manual (the KJV Bible).

*During Boot Camp, the Christian soldier is introduced to not only the weapons of their warfare, they are also introduced to additional portions of their weaponry as contained in the Word of God (2 Peter 1:4-8).  There are other places in the training manual ripe for study that will fill the Christian soldier in on their duties, weapons, and commands from Headquarters.

*The Code of Conduct of the Christian soldier is contained in three places in the KJV Bible.  For men, it is contained in the entire 119^th Psalm.  For women, it is contained in the Books of Ruth, Esther, and Chapter 31 of the Book of Proverbs (vv10-31 mainly).  For children, it is contained in Ephesians 6:1-4 and Titus, chapters 2 and 3.  The overall Code of Conduct of the Christian soldier is contained in the Beatitudes (Matthew, Chapters 5-7).

*The mandate for the Christian soldier, the standing order from the Captain of our salvation, Jesus Christ, is found in Matthew 28:18-20.  This is the Great Commission.  This should be stressed in Boot Camp and should be brought up as refresher material throughout the life of the Christian soldier.

*The greatest commands FOR the Christian soldier concerning their Commander-In-Chief are cited by Jesus Christ in Matthew 22:36-40 KJV.  Memorize them and obey them.

*Obedience is demanded of the Christian soldier (I Samuel 15:22).  Further, their past is forgiven and their future is assured (Philippians 3:13-14).

*Murmuring in the ranks is not tolerated of the Christian solider and can have fatal consequences (I Corinthians 10:10; Philippians 2:14-15).  Remember those who murmured against Moses.

*The Christian Solder MUST be made aware of the fact that at any time may be ordered to Headquarters by death (Hebrews 9:27) OR the Rapture of the Church (I Thes. 4:13-18).  It is critical to understand that the Jesus Christ WILL be returning to earth in His second coming.  Rewards for the Christian soldier will be given by Jesus at the Judgment Seat (Romans 14:10; II Corinthians 5:10 KJV).

*Abuse of superiors in the Household of Faith by the Christian soldier is not tolerated by the CNC and could have drastic consequences.  Remember what happened to David’s wife Michal as he danced before the Lord with all his might.  Remember what happened to the friends who tried to console Job.  Remember what happened to those who opposed Elijah (II Kings 1:9-13 KJV).

*A Christian soldier MUST be taught how to, and actively engage in sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  They MUST learn how to evangelize and share their faith with others (Ephesians 4:11; II Timothy 4:5 KJV).  This also should be a part of Boot Camp and Basic Training.

*Upon completion of Boot Camp and Basic Training, the Christian soldier reaches graduation with any eye towards more intensive and specialized training.  This could be better known as the discipleship process.  The basics must be retained, while more advanced training is gained.  Regardless of the duty station where a Christian soldier is shipped by Headquarters, the bottom line is that the basics of the faith must be retained, the weapons of our warfare kept sharp, and their spiritual armor kept repaired and working.  Remember: The Christian soldier is ALWAYS bound to the basics of the Christian faith and never outgrows their need, nor application.

*A variety of new skills are obtained in the discipleship of the Christian solider.  These specialized training areas will hit upon a broad list of training and assignment opportunities.  Some of these trainings will involve Spiritual Warfare, Bible Prophecy, Spiritual Gifts, Prayer, Fasting, Ministry and assignments TO ministry areas based upon the Call of God.  If you have any other questions, please feel free to check with your Recruiting Sergeant at a local church.
