We Say Why? Why? Because God Said So!  Exodus 20;1-17

Commandment #1    I am the Lord thy God, thou shall have no other gods before me. >>Not Buddha, Mohammad, Allah, Shiva or Akai.

Commandment #2    Thou shall not make unto thee any graven images and bow down to them or serve them. >>No bowing down or worshipping statues of Mary, Jesus, Peter, Paul, a bird, a tree or a live or fake Christmas tree.

Commandment #3    Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh His name in vain. >>No saying God ”D”.

Commandment #4    Remember the Sabbath to keep it holy. Six days thou shall labor and do thy work but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord. In it thou shall Not do any work because God made Heaven & Earth in six days and He rested on the seventh day. He blessed and hallowed the seventh day as the Sabbath.

Commandment #5    Honor thy father and mother that thy days may be long on the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee. >>Your parents brought you into this world and they can take you out!

Commandment #6   Thou shall not kill. >>Whether its premeditated or un-premeditated murder, thou shall not kill. Period.

Commandment #7    Thou shall not commit adultery. >>A couple talking about getting a divorce does not suddenly make you unmarried folk.

Commandment #8     Thou shall not steal. >>This also means borrowing and never giving it back.

Commandment #9     Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor. >>Don’t lie, make up stuff, insinuate or give false impressions.

Commandment #10    Thou shall not covet they neighbor’s house, wife, maidservant or ox. >>Don’t be jealous because his house is bigger than yours. Don’t be jealous because his wife is prettier than yours. Don’t be jealous of his brand new car either.
