We wander around as broken images,

Lost beyond repair,

Will this shattered glass be made whole?

Will these faded colours ever find true beauty?

Will these torn out pages ever find words of hope?

Will this wilting leaf taste streams of life once more?

Will this fallen reed ever rise?

Will this dying ember find its lost spark?

Will this wild storm ever see the light of day?

Will these wounds of life ever heal?

Yet our trust remains in God,

Our healer and our hope,

He will bandage every wound, our scars, a reminder of his grace,

And bring peace to the wild storm within us,

He will cause our hearts to burn brightly for him once more,

And enables us to rise on our two feet,

He will refresh and bring life to our weary souls,

And bind up the torn pages of our lives into his grand story,

Made into newly cleaned windows, he will shine through us,

And paint our lives into beautiful works of art,

In the Master’s hands,

We are his masterpiece.
