Lord God,

I give you thanks for this new day,

And the opportunities it brings with it,

As I begin this new day Lord,

Please help me to be a living sacrifice,

I surrender my entire body to you this day,

To be used for your good and not for evil,

I give you my time, energy, resources and talents,

To be used for your purposes,

I pray that whatever activities or responsibilities I have to do today,

Teach me to do them wholeheartedly with joy and thanksgiving,

And I pray that all my thoughts, words and the desires of my heart,

Would be a pleasing fragrance to you,

Please bring to fruition my every desire to serve you,

And equip me for every good work you have prepared for me to do,

Help me to be ready to serve you with all that I am,

And receive my worship to you this day.
