The Choir

There they stand in the choir stand with their long beautiful glorious robes
Singing their hearts out in the church by the cove
Songs of praise to the Most High God
Cause the children to listen and avoid the chastisement rod
Clapping their hands to make a soulful melody
Stomping to the music with their feet
Singing every now and then a little bit off beat
Voices so strong and powerful enough to touch one’s soul
The glory of God is what is being showed
Their sweet voices sing of hope and faith and of God’s love
The choir sounds heavenly sent from above.
