Jesus, God’s only begotten son.
You are the chosen one.
You were chosen to bring peace.
You were chosen to teach.
God’s word is what you preached.

Jesus, God’s only begotten son
You are a miracle worker.
You are a feet washer.
You are the beloved Christ.
You redeemed the world and gave your life as a sacrifice.

Jesus, God’s only begotten son
You endured the same temptations like us.
You overcame the world’s lusts.
You are a perfect example of how to live for God.
With you life is a lot less hard

Jesus, God’s only begotten son
You showed us the glory of the father and the power of his divine spirit.
Your praise I am so glad to give it and hear it.
I will honor you with all my being.
You are my reason for living.

Jesus, God’s only begotten son
In this cold world you are a true friend
One to lean on and depend
You have a deep love for all mankind
I am so glad that you are my savior for all time.
