He Deserves More

Beautiful as the night
Your birth was such a sight
Wrapped in swaddling clothes
At true tale to be told
Over the hills and throughout the land
Oh so much joy surrounding the birth of this glorious man
The bells ringing
The sound of trumpets and angels and choirs singing
Gifts of myrrh, frankincense, and gold
Oh what love this one man would show the world
By laying down his life for all
He answered God’s call
God’s call for all humankind to be saved
His own life he gave
He is who we worship and praise God for
He deserves our worship and so much more.
