The True Shepherd

He leads the sheep into the greenest pastures.
He encourages the sheep to love God and to love one another.
He guides the sheep into right behavior.
He gives the sheep rest from their labor.
He urges the sheep to help their neighbor.
For their neighbor dwells by them for safety
He heals the sheep of their many diseases.
He helps them put together life’s pieces.
He shines among them as a beacon of light.
He searches for the lost sheep at any depth or height.
He loves each and every sheep with all his might.
He leads them in the way of holiness.
He shows them God’s glorious power.
He keeps watch over them every second, minute, and hour.
His grace and mercy is like a beautiful spring shower.
Jesus the Christ is his name.
He lives to Glorify God and we should do the same.
He is the true shepherd indeed.
A holy, blessed and anointed King that we all need
Our souls he has freed.
