The evergreen:
It stays green all year 'round.
Never dying,
A place where life can be found.

During the coldest time of year
The evergreen will survive-
Adding vivacity and hope for spring
By just being alive.

The evergreen is present
Every Christmas season,
Decking the halls of many homes
Just for the sake of beauty and tradition.

Christ Jesus:
He still lives today.
He died once but rose again,
Between us and God, to be a way.

During the coldest time of life,
Jesus is always holding our hand-
Giving us a hope for a clear path
Because the cold He can withstand.

His story of His life
Starts on the day of Christmas.
It is read around the fires of many homes
An annual reminder that He is alive for us.

Jesus Christ:
He is our evergreen; never dying
Alive for all time
"A savior, who is Christ the Lord," our king.

Jesus: our evergreen,
Thank You for being.
