A Beautiful Dove

Like a beautiful dove
You have proved your love
So graceful and free
I am glad you dwell inside of me
Like an evergreen tree
Your luscious green leaves are a sight to see
Life is in the power of your hands
You dwelt on earth as one like man
Showing us the way to perfection
You taught many life lessons
You taught us how to love
You taught us the nature of our God above
You reigned down grace and mercy
You are an amazing King
Victory to the saints you bring
Your sacrificial life gives us a reason to sing
You bring glory to God our heavenly father
Without you life would be much harder
Your yoke is easy
And your burden is light
I promise to obey and love you and the father with all my might
You are a most beautiful dove
A true reflection of our God’s love.
