A List of Blessings for Fearing the Lord and Keeping His commandments

We shall be blessed as individuals and as a nation for obeying the commandments of the Lord. Jesus left behind the two greatest commandments of all during his ministry here on earth in the form of a man. These two commandments are the two greatest commandments out of all the commandments that the Lord has given us to follow. (Mark 12:29-31-Mark 12: 29- And Jesus answered him, the first of all the commandments is, Hear O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord: Mark 12:30- And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. Mark 12:31- And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.).

If we repent of our sins and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior he promises to forgive us and bless us with eternal life and an abundant life here on earth. (John 3:16-For God so loved the world, he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.) (John 10:10- The thief cometh not, but to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.). God promises seasons of refreshment to come from him if we repent of our sins. (Acts 3:19- Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;). Keeping the commandments of God is a way of showing God we are grateful for his compassions which fail not and are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). It is a way of showing God we love him. (John 14: 21-He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.). (John 15:10-If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.).”(John 15:7- If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.) Below are a some promises and blessings the Lord has promised us for keeping his commandments. (See Exodus 20 For the Ten commandments.)

John 15: 7- If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Psalm 112: 1-3

Psalm 112:1- Praise ye the Lord. Blessed is the man that feareth the Lord, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

Psalm 112:2- His seed shall be mighty upon the earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

Psalm 112:3-Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth forever.

Proverbs 3:1-2-

Proverbs 3:1- My son forget not my law, but let thine heart keep my commandments.

Proverbs 3:2- For length of days and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Leviticus 25:18-21

Leviticus 25:18- Wherefore ye shall do my statues, and keep my judgments, and do them; and ye shall dwell in the land in safety.

Leviticus 25:19- And the land shall yield her fruit, and ye shall eat your fill, and dwell therein safety.

Leviticus 25: 20- And if ye shall say, What shall we eat the seventh year? Behold, we shall not sow, nor gather in our increase:

Leviticus 25:21- Then I will command my blessing upon you in the sixth year, and it shall bring forth fruit for three years.

Leviticus 26 Blessings for the Nation/Individual for Obeying God and Keeping his commandments

Leviticus 26:3-13

Leviticus 26:3-If ye walk in my statues, and keep my commandments, and do them;

Leviticus 26:4-Then I will give you rain in due season, and the land shall yield her increase, and the trees of the field shall yield their fruit.

Leviticus 26:5- And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage, and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time: and ye shall eat your bread to the full, and dwell in your land safely.

Leviticus 26:6-And I will give peace in the land, and ye shall lie down, and none shall make you afraid: and I will rid evil beasts out of the land, neither shall the sword go through your land.

Leviticus 26:7-And ye shall chase your enemies, and they shall fall before you by the sword.

Leviticus 26:8- And five of you shall chase an hundred, and an hundred of you shall put ten thousand to flight: and your enemies shall fall before you by the sword.

Leviticus 26:9- For I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish you.

Leviticus 26:10- And ye shall eat old store and bring forth the old because of the new.

Leviticus 26:11- And I set my tabernacle among you: and my soul shall not abhor you.

Leviticus 26: 12-And I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.

Leviticus 26:13- I am the Lord your God, which brought you forth out of the land of Egypt, that ye should not be their bondmen; and I have broken the bands of your yoke and made you go upright.
