Souls To Be Nourished

and many people came to him. They said, “Though John never performed a sign, all that John said about this man was true.” And in that place many believed in Jesus. John 10:41-42 NIV

Jesus knew that His time on earth was getting short, yet He still needed to share the word of the Father with many. In this area where John had been preaching and baptizing came many souls searching for a new beginning, a fresh start. The people knew that John had never performed a sign, but Christ performed many. Performing signs had not been the mission to him from God. Making a way for a path unto the Lord, that was his mission, and he shared greatly about the Lord. Now it was time for Christ to nourish the souls seeking for something beyond that which they had received. The area was fertile for souls to be nurtured, and many there did come to believe in Christ.
