Faith
“Friend, I heard your audible sigh.
I saw you drenched in your fears
With your face buried in your weary hands.
I asked you, but won’t share with me your fears.
You think I cannot understand your heart felt!
If you will tell me your heart content:
The storms that pump your unlimited tears
And the loads that get you compressed always;
I will heal your wounds, but you still refuse!
Friend, won’t you tell me
Many years of uncertainties that flog you with disgrace
And get you committed to your sorrow?
Friend, I love to hear your story
And lead you out;
Your problems can’t differ my solution”
Give me your wound and I will heal it!
This could be your beginning or end,
Depending on who you let lead your way from now!
If given to me, your life chattered in afflictions
And shattered with burdens and sorrow,
I will make wonders out of all your wounds.
Gain out of all yours pains,.
Praises out of all your sordid past
And glory out of your shame.
Put me at the beginning and at the end of all;
I will compass and convert them to testimonies!”
These were the words of Christ to a depressed young man who did latter considered this and had a great relieve from his numerous burdens.
Friend, what is your own situation today?
Label it “the beginning”.
And present it to God who is the beginning?
Put Christ before and behind your troubles,
And then you’ll find out that you have none;
He had carried them all at Calvary.
Tell it all to Christ, He is a burden bearer!
