My favorite place to pray
is in my garden alone,
For amidst God's beauty
I truly feel at home.

He listens to my cares
No matter how big or small,
I know he wants to listen
to them one and them all.

He is always right on time
Though I am often running late,
But, my Savior loves me
so patiently he awaits.

I often don't know how
Or even where to start,
But he gently listens
To sincerity of my heart.

When I miss our time alone,
It's like a journey without rest,
I miss out on his comfort
And miss out on being blessed.
