God is always aware of what is going on in our lives. His eyes look to and fro. He is all seeing. Just as Job said, “Does He not see my ways, and number all my steps?” (Job 3:14 NASB) So why do we hold back from Him? It isn’t like we can hide anything from Him. It isn’t like Santa whether we will be on the naughty list or not.

God is not waiting to see if we will mess up, but He is here to help us through the tough times. He already knows there will be times we may stumble, but that is okay. No one is perfect. Only Jesus fits that description. Jesus was tempted in all ways, but did not sin (Hebrews 4:15). Isn’t that the whole reason for His coming? He came to be that pure and without blemish, perfect sacrifice. The sacrificial lamb. We are forgiven and loved. We just need to learn to walk in His forgiveness and love. If He can forgive us then we also have to forgive ourselves. Amen.

What is in your heart that you feel God will not forgive? Why? Did God ever say he would not forgive you? The only thing God ever said he would not forgive was blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 12:31).

God knows our hearts and loves us. This is where our focus should be.
