My Father And Your Father

“I am telling you what I have seen in the Father's presence, and you are doing what you have heard from your father." John 8:38 NIV

What Christ does is that which He had known from being with the Father. He is perfectly united with the Father and knows that which the Father has given Him to do. The Jews to the contrary did not accept what came from God, but instead were influenced and ruled by the devil and His desires. If there is no place for God in the lives of these Jews, how could they expect that any good would come to them? They were focused on worldly desires, that which is of the flesh, and the fulfillment of man-made laws. How sad it was for them.

Do not allow worldly desires, the desires of the flesh to rule your heart. Give your all to the Lord and you shall be blessed!
