Words Of Eternal Life

Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.” John 6:68 NIV

In this world we search for much. Most of that for which we search though has little if any true value. That which we really need to search for is Truth. Truth cannot be found in the flesh and its desires. Truth is found in the Spirit. The awakening of one’s Spirit only comes through the gift of the Holy Spirit, a gift from the Heavenly Father to those who belong to the Son, Jesus Christ. Thus, the words of Peter here in this verse are so true. Christ, and He alone has the words of eternal life. No matter where else we might search, we shall not find the Truth that is to be found in Jesus Christ. If you have come to Christ and have given your all to Him, then you have discovered the Truth.
