Everyday when I awake
I thank Jesus for my rest
I grab my cup of coffee to awake
Then I go get dressed
And as I'm getting ready
I thank Jesus for my job
I grab my stuff...kiss hubby and dog
And out the door I run.

I lay my hand upon the dash
And Plead the Blood of Jesus right then
I lay my hand in the passenger seat
And thank Jesus for being here again
As I head out and get on the road
I thank Jesus for all things
Our home...Our cars......
You know...all those material things

I get out on the hwy and make it up to speed
I am praying and He is listening
I feel His presence so close to me
I thank Him for my protection
My strength...my joy...my peace
And I say...put me where you need me
And words to help someone else find their peace

As I reach my destination
I hear Jesus speak to me
This child inside needs prayer
Take their hands and begin to speak
I will give you My Words of Wisdom
And bring the peace that they need
You just open your ears and listen
I will give you all you need

I listened and obeyed Jesus
Took their hands and I prayed
Jesus gave me the words I needed
I Prayed and I Obeyed
And after the prayer was over
I went about my job
I could still feel Jesus presence
In that room with His child

The Peace of Jesus I left there
And I headed to my car
With Jesus sitting beside me
He said, "Well done, My Child."
Yes Sweet Jesus rides with me
Everywhere I go
Everyday when I awake
I Praise Jesus all day long.
