Very truly I tell you, the one who believes has eternal life. John 6:47 NIV
With this verse in mind, we can cast out doubt brough about by those who say there is no after life. Jesus says here very truly that there is eternal life. He wishes to emphasize the truth to that which He states. There is no maybe or possibility to it. It is a fact that the one who believes has eternal life. The soul moves on after the death of the physical body. The soul does not perish to the grave. This truly is a promise from our Lord. That which our Lord promise shall come to pass no matter what anyone may do or think.
Live in the joy of the promise of our Lord! In Him you have eternal life!
