I made no use of these rights,
Nor do I write to secure;
A provision that ignites,
Allowing to remain pure.

It is better for to die,
Than deprive of my boasting;
Of the glory to void why,
In taking time with posting.

If I continue to preach,
The Gospel that gives no ground;
For boasting while I teach;
Needful to be Heaven bound.

Woe to me if I preach not,
The Gospel of my free will;
For the reward that I sought,
God entrusted to instill.

A stewardship to entrust,
But what then is my reward;
No attraction to the lust,
Trying to lure from the Lord.

I preach the Gospel for free,
Not as full use of my right;
For all are able to see,
Capable to have insight.

I am a servant to all,
That I might win over them;
And catching them as they fall,
So that God will not condemn.

To the Jews I am a Jew,
That I might win them over;
And helping them to construe,
In Christ that they discover.

For all those under the Law,
Under the Law I became;
As a means to void a flaw,
As they hear what I proclaim.

To the weak I became weak,
That I am able to win;
Adhering to what I speak,
As a means to avoid sin.

I became all things to all,
That by all means I will save;
For the Gospel that I call,
Sin not making them a slave.
