Picture your heart a greenhouse
Green vines throughout for veins
Divided into sections
Of many burgeoning things

Choose with care the right kind of seed
Be mindful of its tone
For some become flowers and some become weeds
You’ll harvest what you’ve sown

Planting seeds of goodness
Of kindness and of hope
Will lead to a thriving greenhouse
That grows and grows and grows

But by planting seeds of doubt
You’ll eventually come to see
The green begin to wither
In insecurity

There is a Master Gardener
He wants to see you grow
He brings inside the new
And tosses out the old

So let him go to work
On the greenhouse of your heart
Or you may come to find it
Filled with weeds and barbs
