"I do not receive glory from men;” John 5:41 NASB
Jesus does not seek glory from us for His sake. The glory He seeks is that mankind would know that He came from the Father and that the Father is to be glorified, and in so doing one also glorifies the Son. Christ is also saying here that men (particularly in this case the Jewish leaders) offer no glory to Him, and also not unto the Father. Jesus does not need our glory, but He seeks honor and glory for the Father who sent Him. He knows that one who so does also honors and glorifies the Son.
May we always honor and glorify the Father in sending His Son to be our Savior!
