"You have sent to John and he has testified to the truth.” John 5:33 NIV
Here Jesus speaks of the Father sending John the Baptist to testify to the Truth about the Messiah. The Jewish leaders sought not the testimony of God, but rather that of man. They should have been satisfied with John’s testimony, yet they chose not to accept it.
When we share the Good News, we must realize that many shall not accept it. Yet we need to continue to share. Our job is to share the message. Christ shall do the work of bringing those who accept the news unto Himself. We have no better news to share than the salvation available through Jesus Christ!
