“My food,” said Jesus, “is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.” John 4:34 NIV
Our Lord was focused on a different food, food for the heart and soul. This food is needed to spiritually survive, and only comes through God. For Jesus, His food was to do the will of the Father. This nourished and inspired our Lord.
Are you made spiritually filled when doing the will of the Lord? Are you inspired by completing work which He gives to you to do? Does His will truly motivate your being? There is nothing which can compare to the food provided by the Lord in doing His will. Let your heart and soul be filled with the food of doing the Lord’s will!
