This present time in history 
In which we live,  we all can see
The deepest lie that we believe can save us.

We come in force, our beatitude 
Is somewhat fraught of gratitude, 
So what begins and ends thus eludes us.

We are many,  we are sailors. 
As the tides turn, we are famous.

Democracy, profanity, corruption 
Plus insanity,  the walls have ears,
God knows this as He's nearby.

Sickness strikes in many forms,
Many die, so many born,
So, what begins and ends thus eludes us.

We are many, we are sailors. 
As the tides turn,  we are famous. 

We wake, we sleep, yet, in between 
A mother cries and then she dreams 
When she first sees her baby's face before her. 

A blistered hand, a skin so worn,
Through many working years have shown 
A dedicated man who has restored her. 

We are many, we are sailors. 
As the tides turn, we are famous.

The rich maintains a sense of self, 
Pretense enriched amongst themselves, 
Elite and lonely,  we all know their story. 

Ermine furs, bands of gold,
We all know they sold their souls
And how they now behave has been determined..
