The head devil asks a small pack of his demons returning from the field:
How have you hounded Mr J. Jones today?  And tell me, what is your most successful tactic with him. Best practices time. Let's share little devils (cackle cackle)
One devil steps forward to speak for group at the others' urging after looking at his fellows and receiving their approval.
We have found, sir, that this Jones fellow doesn't require our hounding or torment because he is so good at tormenting himself and yet, all the while, blaming us for it! We don't mind at all though."
"That's right " chimes in another, "we don't need to oppose him at all because he opposes himself! Don't think he's read that Bible passage yet from Apostle Paul. (2Timothy 2 v25)
"Excellent, Excellent!" Exclaims the head 😈 devil. "You have done your job well. Now we can save some of our forces and send them to more difficult cases who haven't learned that helpful little skill yet. (More cackling) And the less they read that Paul guy the more easily they cooperate with us!"
