This is what the Lord almighty says: In Jeremiah 6

This city must be punished;

it is filled with oppression.

As a well pours out its water,

so she pours out her wickedness.

Violence and destruction resound in her;

her sickness and wounds are ever before me.

Take warning, Jerusalem,

or I will turn away from you

and make your land desolate

so no one can live in it.”

It is my belief that God could be saying this very thing to the USA. In fact to the entire world.

This is what the Lord almighty says:

This country, the USA, must be punished;

it is filled with oppression.

As a well pours out its water,

so she pours out her wickedness.

Violence and destruction resound in her;

her sickness and wounds are ever before me.

Take warning, America,

or I will turn away from you

and make your land desolate

so no one can live in it.”

The answer could be as easy as this prayer from Psalm 38;

O Lord, do not rebuke us in Your anger or discipline us in Your wrath. We confess our sins; we are troubled by our sins, Do not rebuke us, O God. Come quickly to help us, O Lord our Savior. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth we pray, Amen
