MY BROTHER, COME, LET US REASON TOGETHER

The epistles of John reiterate the love of a brother, then, the question arises; who exactly is my brother. Hmm… I wonder!

Shall I love every creature of God unconditionally? Or is it just brethren that I attend the same fellowship/church with? Same denomination ? All who CALL themselves Christians? This list is endless but I guess at this point, you get the gist of this matter!

What am I supposed to do differently for or with this ‘brother’ above all other people? –

To love a brother and be willing to give one's life for him when the need arises? WWJD

Does this mean; to get involved in relationships with reckless abandon or, be willing to part with my worldly possessions, time and all for the sake of this brother, without caution or questions? - Ephesians 5: 15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise Matthew 10: 16 Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves: be ye therefore wise as serpents, and harmless as doves.
