We Are The Limiters

For the one whom God has sent speaks the words of God, for God gives the Spirit without limit. John 3:34 NIV

If God gives the Spirit without limit, why is it that some we see seem so filled with the Spirit, yet other Christians don’t seem to have the Spirit working within? The answer to this question lies within ourselves. Do we truly submit to God’s will, led by the Holy Spirit, or do we still try to do somethings in our own ways? Yes, the Spirit working within us can be limited by our own stubborn action. God is seeking a higher faith from us. He seeks a willingness on our part to truly let go. This releases the power of God to work mightily within us.

Do you truly seek to be filled with the Holy Spirit? To do so you must give yourself totally to God. You cannot hold onto control. God sets no limit in giving the Spirit. We do that ourselves.
