Coming to The Knowledge of The Truth

I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth
5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; (1 Timothy 2:1-4).

One Spirit
The Spirit that's in me is the Spirit that is in you. Thus, I will talk to you in the Spirit. When someone speaks to you in the Spirit, it's not because they are smart.

To talk to you in the Spirit means I will share with you what I see in the Spirit. As the Spirit enables me to talk to you in the Spirit, he also allows you to listen in the Spirit.
When I speak in the Spirit, and you hear with the Spirit, it is then that we keep and protect the unity of the Spirit.

Endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all. (Ephesians 4:3-6).

Now let's look back to first Timothy.
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
Notice in these verses the use of the words 'one and all.' I exhort, therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men. How many men? For all men.

Why for all men? For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Christ Jesus is the one man that unites all men to God. God and all men are in the one man Christ Jesus. Are you getting this?

Everything between God and men settled in Christ Jesus. Not for one man or some men, but for all men. Thus, we are to pray, intercede, and give thanks for all men to live in peace with each other. There will be no peace until we realize that all men are one in Christ Jesus.

To be taught anything other than this truth is incorrect. There is one God, who is the Father of all men. Verse four of Timothy tells us that God is the Father of all; he is our Father. And in verse three, we see it is good and acceptable to God that we pray for all men as one man. Why? In verse four, we see; it is the will of God that all men to be saved and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

To understand this great truth, we would need to know and understand what it means to be saved.
For so long, we thought of salvation as a way to escape hell and make heaven.

But your salvation is much more than that. Salvation is the life of God, which is your life manifested in mortal flesh. It's more than mere healing. It's more than financial gain. Salvation is immortality overruling mortality. Salvation is life nullifying mortality. Salvation is stopping corruption. Salvation equals everything we are in Christ, Jesus.

A Lively Hope
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. (1 Peter 1:3).

Our hope is alive because of the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ. Listen and understand: God in Christ appeared as a man, bone of our bone, and flesh of our flesh.
Thus, we are bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh. Whatever happened to our Lord in physical form happen to us as well. As bone of his bone and flesh of his flesh, we were nailed to the cross with him.

We were buried with him. If we dyed and were buried with him, we also resurrected with him. Yes, we are with him in his physical resurrection.

One of the big mistakes we make is to base the bible truth on human experiences. Where we hear what's written, then we look to see if someone is operating on that level or not.

We seem to automatically decide if we can't or didn't see it in them, then it cannot be accurate. We must understand that the work of God is perfect to produce a perfect and complete man on the sick earth in an imperfect world.

I maybe dispised for saying it, but we should not be dying and suffering corruption. The only reason we are is a lack of knowledge. For my people are destroyed for lack of information, says the Lord.

Through Knowledge
Grace and peace multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and Jesus our Lord. (1 Peter 1:2).

God has nothing to offer outside of himself. Grace is the life of God ruling through his righteous children. You are the grace of God. We are the children of grace. We need to manifest who we are on the earth. But we cannot do so apart from coming to the knowledge of who we are. We arrive at the knowledge of the truth when knowing God becomes our reality.

At this time, we are acting out the experience of a dead man. We walk in the awareness and knowledge of a people still in bondage to sin; when we've been made free.
All Things that Pertain to Life and Godliness

As his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: (2 Peter 1:3).

God's divine power has produced on our behalf all things that have to do with life and respect for God. The divine power of
God is the knowledge of God. The divine power is also called the gospel of Christ.
For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16).
To come unto salvation is the same as coming to the knowledge of the truth. When we arrive at the knowledge of the truth, our salvation will be our reality. Which means a change in both awareness and experience. It is to change from an awareness of sin and death to righteousness and life. And the experience should only be life.
Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Peter 1:4).

Every promise God made in our regard becomes our reality as we arrive at the place where knowledge becomes real to us. It's when the knowledge of God takes the place of the knowledge of good and evil.

To function on the lines of what's good and evil is walk by the senses of the human body, trying to do it without God. But we must understand that there is no life apart from knowing God.
We cannot know good and evil and know God at the same time. God is not good, nor is he bad; he's God.

We are allowed to call him good only if the term represents God only, for there is no comparison to God. The knowledge of good and bad is broad, with many voices, but there is only one God.
Thus, it is the will of God that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of God.

Because we have acknowledged Christ as our savior does not mean we have arrived. For just as the person who has yet to acknowledge Christ as Lord and savior need salvation, we need salvation as our subjective experience. Just as much God's will for all to have salvation as a personal experience as it is for all to recognize Christ as savior.

Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. (2 Peter 1:4).

The promises made a reality in the knowledge of God, and it's through what God provides through the knowledge that we are made sharers of the divine nature.

It's through the divine nature that we have escaped the corruption that's in the world. God made us one with his seed, and the seed of God is the word or knowledge of God. God made you an heir of life, an heir of God, and a joint-heir with Christ.

As the word of God was made flesh, the word of God is to appear in our mortal bodies, making them alive to God. It is not an event to take place in another world or time, but now.
It will not happen as long as we continue to give our ears to every sound that comes our way. We need to give ourselves to the pursuit of arriving.

Forever Learning But Never Arriving
Ever learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. (2 Peter 3:7)

We are stuck in an endless cycle of learning but never arriving. We are always looking for someone to scratch our itching ears. We as ministers seek knowledge so that we can have something to talk to others, but we to must listen with the intent of arriving. We need to shake ourselves from the contentment with the status quo.

I know you been taught that there is nothing you can do about your present status, but that's not so.
We don't have to continue to live in this world as those without hope. God provided a way for his children to escape the corruption that's in this world.
