God is IMMUTABLE He is CHANGELESS.

Thots: The word IMMUTABLE is a God word . Synonyms such as incorruptible, lasting, permanent, unchanging, abiding durable, long lived are all words that can be found in the word IMMUTABLE. These words cannot be used to describe man because man is changeable.

The nature of the God is revealed to us as we read His Word. We read, we understand and then we believe this truth about God. This truth is the object of our faith. That is why the Bible says that faith comes, by hearing and hearing found in the Word of God. Later as we walk with Jesus, we experience Him in the circumstances of life and know Him experientially. This experiential knowledge is the basis of our praise reports.

An application of God's immutability: It is our understanding experimentally that He was found faithful in the past, coupled with his immutability that extends his faithfulness to future. He does not change. Knowing that He is IMMUTABLE allows us to rest in His unchanging love, mercy, grace, kindness, faithfulness tomorrow. We don't need to experience each attribute each day.
