When life throws you a curve,
And you actually lose the nerve
To step boldly to Satan face-to-face
Due to his efforts to keep you from your place
In destiny and God’s purpose for your life
With attacks of pain, suffering and strife,
There is no need to fret or fear
Because God has always promised to be near.
When he catches you at your weakest point,
Just seek God so that He may anoint,
You with power, wisdom, knowledge and understanding
So that you just won’t be handing
Over the victory God has for you
In spite of what Satan puts you through.
When he catches you off guard
And tries to make your way hard,
Don’t feel that hope is gone;
For, God has not left you alone,
But He hears your cry and sees your tears,
And He’s standing awaiting to calm your fears.
God is willing and able to do,
Just what you need Him to.
God will not let you fall
Because He hears your every call.
God is there for you,
And He is able and willing to bring you through
Your times of sorrow, pain and despair,
And He’s always willing to show how much He cares.
So, don’t let Satan and his efforts cause you to doubt
That God is ready and willing to bring you out.
