For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16 NIV

The power of this verse lies in the feeling of it and thinking of it rather than in speaking of it. It is the Truth that we must know and accept. So much can and has been written about this verse, yet if it is not felt, then where lies its power?

One thing inborn to humans is the need to feel loved. I cannot think of one who could be sane who does not have the desire to be loved.

Think now. Our creator, the One who molded us in the womb of the woman who bore us loves us so much that He does not want us to die an eternal death, a spending of eternity in fire and torment. God wants us to live in His presence forever and to receive His blessings forever. He provided a means to escape the jaws of death. Victory over death has been won for us. But we must accept this gift. God will not force it upon anyone. Not until we attain our eternal home shall we be able to totally grasp the intensity of God’s love for us. Begin your eternal life. Be sure you know that Christ is your Savior and Lord!
