That man that you spent years of your life
Waiting on him to make you his wife,
But walked away without the thought of a commitment,
There is not need to hold resentment
Because God has another plan,
And for you, He has another man
Who will love and cherish you
And be honored to offer a commitment for all that you do.
That friend that you always counted on,
But walked away and left you alone
Is only a stepping stone to your destiny;
For, God has another friend who will care about where you spend eternity.
That woman that you loved more than anyone knew,
But decided to walk away from you
Is nothing compared to the woman God has for your life;
For, she’ll be more than a friend: a companion, a lover and a wife.
That job that you held for so long,
And helped you buy your car and your home
That has been taken from you without cause;
There is no need to put your life on pause
Because God has another plan and something in store
That will provide you with peace of mind and so much more.
That car that was your prize possession,
But is now under repossession
Does not compare to the plan God has for you;
Just remain faithful and hold true.
That house that was your dream-home,
But because of foreclosure is not gone
Cannot match the plan God has to restore
Your home, your finances and so much more.
When things don’t go as you have planned,
And you fail to understand
Why it had to happen or what went wrong,
Just trust God that this is not where you belong;
For, if you trust God and hold to His unchanging hand,
He will direct you into His true plan
For prosperity and success,
And you will see that His plan is best.
So, don’t worry when life takes a turn
Because you will soon learn
That God has another plan,
And He’ll reveal it to you and help you understand
Where it’s taking you, and that’s to higher heights,
But to get there you may have to go through some dark nights.
When your plans seem to be intercepted,
And you’re going where you never expected,
Just trust God and try to understand
That God has another plan.
